Kohler Co. shuttle bus rolls over

16-year-old driver cited for blowing stop sign

SHEBOYGAN — At least two people were injured Monday afternoon when a Kohler Company shuttle bus rolled over.

At approximately 3:15 PM on Monday, August 28th, firefighters and paramedics were called to the intersection of County Road Y and Rowe Road in the Town of Mosel for a reported two vehicle rollover accident with injuries. At the time, entrapment was reported but all parties were able to exit vehicles by the time firefighters arrived.

Deputies arrived on scene to find a Destination Kohler shuttle bus on its side. The bus, operated by 68-year-old James Wolf of Sheboygan, was traveling north on County Highway Y at Rowe Road when it struck the passenger side of a Toyota Prius operated by a 16-year-old male from Sheboygan according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office. The 16-year-old was cited for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign while traveling east on Rowe Road.

The bus provides service between Whistling Straits and The American Club.

Haven Fire Department, Howards Grove Fire Department & First Responders, Orange Cross Ambulance, Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene.
