Elementary school evacuated after natural gas line struck

Construction crews are working to expand Lincoln-Erdman

SHEBOYGAN — Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School was evacuated Friday afternoon and students have been moved to the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department.

Around 2 PM on Friday, September 8th, students and staff evacuated Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School on County Road J due to a natural gas line being hit by construction crews. “All students and staff quickly and safely evacuated the building and are currently at the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department,” said school officials.
