Manitowoc County holds active shooter drill

Over 30 agencies participated

VALDERS — Manitowoc County law enforcement agencies and first responders held an active shooter drill at Valders High School on Friday, November 10th.

This drill culminate a two-year long process of awareness training events and table-top exccises focusing on enhanced inter-agency coordiation and rapid care to the injuried according to Assistant Chief Brian Kohlmeier of the Two Rivers Police Department.

The exercise occurred in conjunction with a scheduled in-service day for Valders School District staff. Faculty and staff from the school district participated in the exercise alongside personnel from over 30 emergency response agencies.
